This project involved the careful removal and full remanufacture of a bay box sash window, completed to preserve the character of the property while significantly improving performance and longevity. The original unit was removed and recreated in the workshop with close attention to traditional detailing and precise craftsmanship.
The new window was manufactured from Accoya timber, chosen for its exceptional durability, stability, and long service life. Curved sections were steam bent on a former to accurately replicate the original bay profile. New glass panes were fitted, and the completed sash window was professionally reinstalled on site.
The finished result combines timeless period style with modern materials, delivering improved efficiency, durability, and a beautifully restored appearance.
